Position Overview

The Business Analyst will assist the Director of Sales and Management Team in strategically analyzing sales numbers to improve overall sales efficiencies, profit margin and market share through the development of Power BI datasets and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL process for Point of Sale data that comes from multiple business partners on a monthly basis.
  • Create Power BI data models and reports that will provide business unit insights, such as:

- Performance to sales quota

- Alignment of pre-sale pipeline, forecasting, and inventory to ensure timely delivery of project requirements

- Business unit performance relative to industry, market, and plan

- Sales quote status, performance, and maintenance

  • Development of customer reports that will identify areas of business opportunity such as price realization, product mix, and market share.
  • SAP Experience
  • Proactively create reporting tools and business process automations to improve organizations overall efficiencies
  • Assist management team in evaluating business trends based on data in Power BI
  • Ability to patiently work with and train team members who are less proficient in Power BI

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years as a business analyst.
  • SalesForce.com experience.
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience.
  • Microsoft Power BI dataset development experience.
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong comprehensive knowledge of business systems and applications.
  • Must have great communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Other Technology
